Harbor Makers

★★★★☆ 4.2 Editor rating

Harbor Makers drops you on an empty stretch of coast with a single pier and lets you build outward. You lay roads, warehouses and cranes, route goods from ships to market, and gradually turn a quiet dock into a proper working harbor. It's management without the panic — nothing collapses if you take a break.

The satisfying bit is watching the little logistics puzzles untangle. A jam at the loading bay sends you rethinking your road layout, and solving it feels earned. There are seasons and weather that nudge demand around too, so the optimal setup keeps shifting.

It leans cosy over challenging, and late game can get a touch repetitive, but it's a lovely thing to dip into at the end of a day. A sim that wants you relaxed, not stressed.
