Coin Games
Coin Games is one of those apps that looks almost too simple at first glance, then eats an entire bus ride before you notice. The core idea is flicking discs around a physics board — nudging, bouncing and lining them up to hit targets. Each mode has its own rules, from precision stacking to speed runs where you clear a cluster before a timer ticks out.
Controls are pure touch: drag back to set power and angle, release to send the disc off. There's a satisfying weight to the way they slide and collide, and the physics feel consistent enough that you start planning two shots ahead. Later stages add moving pegs and tilted surfaces that completely change how you read a board.
What won me over was the pacing. Rounds are short, so a failed attempt never stings, and the difficulty climbs in small honest steps. It's one of the few casual games I kept open for the little daily challenges rather than deleting after a day.
What we liked
- Chunky, believable physics on every flick
- Short rounds that fit any spare minute
- Difficulty rises gently without cheap walls
